The Reliance by M.L. Tyndall
Romantic Times 4 1/2 Stars!
Tormented by his wife's apparent demise, Edmund Merrick drowns
his sorrows with rum and piracy, only to find himself trapped in the
dark world of a demented pirate captain. When his mind clears from
its rum-induced haze, will Edmund find the will to escape? Seemingly
abandoned by her husband, Charlisse is thrown into the clutches of
the vengeful pirate Kent. Will she be swept away by the undertow of
treachery and despair? Can Edmund and Charlisse steer their way to
the faith-filled haven they so desperately seek, or will they ultimately
lose their love and lives to the sea.
"I'm not a big fan of sequels that
continue a story with the same hero
and heroine. Generally they don't
live up to the first book, but The
Reliance does-and then some."

"Sweet romance, fast-paced
adventure, stormy seas, dangerous
pirates, handsome heroes, and a
woman not afraid to go rescue her
man from danger all combine to
make this sequel a read that won't
disappoint."

Book Two of The Legacy of the
King's Pirates Series is even
more gripping than the first. Full of
captured ladies and scoundrels
as well as good-hearted men
gone wrong, there is something in
this book for everyone. Whether
you seek romance, adventure or
the turning of hearts, you'll find it
here. Besides, who doesn't need
a vacation to the Caribbean?
Armchair Interviews says: A
Caribbean pirate adventure
with something for everyone.

eagerly awaiting the next book in
this faith-filled, fabulous series by
Ms. Tyndall.

I must admit to being nervous
when embarking on The Reliance
since my heart had already been
kidnapped by Tyndall's first book,
The Redemption. But before the
end of chapter one, I'd been
reeled in. Tyndall is a master of
character development and
rope-dangling scene endings.
Once you begin reading, your
everyday life will be thrown in the
hold until the last page.

Ms. Tyndall takes us once
again to the Caribbean high
seas and the life of pirates,
some struggling to live a life of
faith. This story set in 1668, is full
of romance, action, pain, a
powerful message, great
characters and a page-turning
storyline, you'll hate to put down.
Fans of the first book, THE
REDEMPTION will be pleased
to once again travel along with
Charlisse and Merrick.

Historical romance readers, M.L.
Tyndall has done it
again--captivated me--the
woman who no longer reads
historical romance novels--with
an epic, seafaring, adventurous,
historical romance!
Not only has she succeeded in
writing a sequel that is even
better (if possible) than the first in
the series (a rarity in my
experience) this time she threw a
lady pirate into the mix.
